Dufferin Financial Group hosted the following two seminars. The topic discussed at the seminars was Living Benefit Solutions. 

Teresa Walkey was the presenter for Manulife Financial at both the 2pm and the 7pm seminar. She gave an enthusiastic and very informative message about Critical Illness. Theresa’s message described how none of us know what could happen to us or our loved ones in the future with the rising expenses for health care and in-home care. Critical Illness protection can be a financial lifesaver, because it pays a lump sum amount when you may potentially need it, plus it is refundable if not used after a certain age. Teresa’s upbeat and fresh presentation was well received.

RBC Insurance presenters were Blake Wood at 2pm and Santo Filice at 7pm. Both gave very good presentations. They discussed long-term care and how important it is to plan for the future. With real life experiences as examples the audience was able to relate to these situations. Hand outs showed the costs of a Long-term care facility and the actual expenses incurred in a number of examples. Nowadays the demand for long-term care is growing and therefore waiting lists are a problem even though expenses are rising. That is why investing in a long-term plan will not only prepare you for the future but it will also guarantee more peace of mind for a comfortable future. The presentations were very good and opened the eyes of both young and old that attended.
